Adobe Analytics Integration


Adobe Analytics is likely home to most of the reporting for your marketing attribution strategy. In order to perform analysis based on the additional campaign meta-data that ObservePoint provides through Touchpoints, you'll need to setup this integration.

Note:  After the integration is configured, the data will start to populate in Adobe only for newly credited or recently edited Touchpoints
Note: Multiple integrations will can be set up if data needs to be imported to multiple report suites.


There are 3 deliverables that need to be completed and sent to your Success Manager in order to configure the Adobe Analytics integration. 

Note: They can be completed in any order.
  1. Create & send mapping between Touchpoints Attributes and Adobe Classifications

    Create Classifications in Adobe Analytics that correspond to the Attributes in the Touchpoints platform that you want imported.

    For questions surrounding how to add classification, review Adobe's help doc.

    For questions surrounding to how create Attributes in the Touchpoints platform, review this help doc.

    Send documentation describing the mapping to your Success Manager / Implementation Specialist.
  2. Note:  This step is largely subjective to what data you want to pull into Adobe Analytics.
  3. Setup FTP Import Server & send credentials

    An Adobe Analytics user with Admin rights will select Classification Importer from the Admin dropdown in the nav bar. In the Import File ribbon, select FTP Import.Add a new a FTP Server to receive data from the Touchpoints platform.

      One you Save, you will see a window with the Login and Password. Send the FTP Server Login and Password to your Success Manager / Implementation Specialist.
  4. Download & send the Import Template File

    An Adobe Analytics user with Admin rights will select Classification Importer from the Admin dropdown in the nav bar.In the Download Template ribbon, select the Report Suite and Data Set to be classified (this should be the variable where Classifications have been defined). Other settings can be left as default.

    Then click Download.
    Send the downloaded file to your Success Manager / Implementation Specialist.
