URL Validation

There is a validation section in each Touchpoint where a user can test a URL to make sure that it is working.

Once a Touchpoint is created there will be a Full URL and a Short URL. Both URLs serve the same function as a tracking URL to paste into a campaign or whatever you are needing to track. 

By clicking the refresh icon, you can test the URL to make sure that it is valid, if the URL works and returns a 200 status code (success), there will be a green light and it will tell you that the URL is valid. 

If there is an issue with the URL, it will return a red light indicating that the URL is not valid and needs to be fixed.

Tips for troubleshooting an invalid URL: 

  • Make sure the URL syntax is entered correctly e.g. http(s)://www.example.com.
  • Make sure the URL is spelled correctly.
