SMS Notifications

Overview

To send SMS notifications to mobile numbers, you can utilize the email-to-SMS functionality provided by mobile carriers. This allows you to send an email, which the recipient's mobile number will receive as an SMS. This email can be added to any email notification in the ObservePoint application.

Here are the email formats for major carriers in the US and the UK:

  • AT&T:
    • Email format: {10-digit-number}@txt.att.net
    • Example: 1234567890@txt.att.net
  • Verizon:
    • Email format: {10-digit-number}@vtext.com
    • Example: 1234567890@vtext.com
  • T-Mobile:
    • Email format: {10-digit-number}@tmomail.net
    • Example: 1234567890@tmomail.net
  • Sprint (now part of T-Mobile):
