Overview
You can integrate your ObservePoint notifications with Jira by configuring your cloud apps to receive and process emails. ObservePoint can send notifications via email from Audits, Journeys, Rules, and Alert and be sent to Jira and show up as a new comment or issue.
To get started with this integration, you will need to work with your Jira administrator to begin this process. Please refer to this Jira help document that will guide your Jira administrator to create an email server with an email address that can be used within ObservePoint to send notifications to your Jira environment. It will also explain how to configure a Mail Handler that will sort JIRA issues into the appropriate projects and assign them to the appropriate team members. Multiple Mail Handlers can be created for different alert types.
Subscribing to ObservePoint notifications
Journeys - You can add an email subscriber to a Journey by editing an existing Journey or creating a new one. Several email addresses can be added to a single Journey by adding one address per line.
Alerts - You can add an email subscriber to an Alert by editing an existing Alert or creating a new one. Several email addresses can be added to a single Alert by adding one address per line.
